Charges
In U.S. Dollars (payable in Zambian Kwacha or other convertible currency equivalent - see 'Payments').

Confirmation & Deposit

Once a 'Booking' application has been received, then an 'Offer' of the dates you require, or alternatives, will be communicated to you. This 'Offer' will remain valid for 2 weeks only.

Should you accept the 'Offer' then a deposit of at least 50% of the total cost must be paid immediately (see 'Payments' below).

On receipt of the deposit, the 'Booking/Offer' will be 'Confirmed'.

The balance outstanding must be paid (and received) at least 4 weeks prior to the confirmed booking start date.

On receipt of full payment a 'Camp Entry Permit' (not to be confused with a 'Park Entry Permit' which must be obtained, and paid for separately, at the entrance to the Park) will be forwarded to you.
(NOTE : Entrance to the Camp is not allowed without a Camp Entry Permit).
Cancellations

Any/all bookings cancelled more than four (4) weeks before the confirmed booking start date will be subject to a 10% (administration) charge of the total cost of the original booking.

Bookings cancelled between four (4) and two (2) weeks of the confirmed booking start date will be subject to a 60% charge of the total cost of the original booking.

NO refunds will be made on bookings cancelled within two (2) weeks of the confirmed booking start date.
Payments

All quotations will be given in U.S. Dollars, but payments may be made in Zambian Kwacha or any other convertible currency equivalent, when the exchange rate to be used will be the selling rate in force at Barclays Bank on the day of the payment. All payments must cover any bank charges in order that the full amount due is received in Kabwe.
Guests

Any person making a booking must be a Society member. Similarly, it is the responsibility of the person making any bookings to ensure that those he/she is booking for are also Society members.

The Camp is designed to accommodate 12 guests. However, on occasions this number may be exceeded provided prior arrangements have been made. In this case a charge of U.S.$12.50 per night will be made for each extra guest. Children 2 years of age and under are free of charge and a cot is available upon request.
