The Chibila Camp, previously known as David Shepherd Camp, is set on the beautiful shoreline of Lake Itezhi-Tezhi over which panoramic views can be admired. Being able to sleep twelve people the Camp is ideal for families and groups. The camp is only open for WECSZ members.
There are three chalets, each with four single beds and en-suite shower and toilet facilities. A simple layout allows for each chalet to have its own verandah whilst letting them blend into the natural environment. The chalets are supplemented by the dining and lounge area which are perfect for relaxation, allowing the spectacular view over the lake to be enjoyed to its fullest.
The Camp itself is self-catering and thus requires guests to bring adequate food and drinks for their stay. Food can then be stored, prepared and cooked in the kitchen, whilst a refrigerator is also available for drinks. Crockery, cutlery and bedding are supplied as are the staff who will look after you during your stay. This allows the guest the benefit of a flexible day with meals and housekeeping taken care of.
